News, News & More News

Our little studio is kicking with excitement, so I’d love to share what’s been goin’ on…

First, we are so very excited to welcome Jenn Appleton to our gang.  (yes that will make Jenn and Jen as our office gals)  Jenn being here is really an answer to prayer…when Tami left for another awesome opportunity, Jenn literally fell straight from Heaven.  (Well, close to it as she comes from Santa Barbara)  Jenn is a graduate of the amazing Brooks Institute and an accomplished photographer herself.  Rather than shooting for us, she will be helping Matt in the office and making sure all goes smoothly on the back-end of things.  As she puts it ,”I just love to sit at the computer all day with me and my Photoshop.”  Halleluia!  What could make it even better you ask?  Well, she just so happens to be a former kindergarten teacher who loves on my kiddos big time.  So a major score there!  Oh wait, and there’s one other thing….she works part time at Anthropologie.  Can you say friends and family discount anyone?  So, suffice it to say, welcome Jenn, we love you!  {and thanks also for the fun images of moi at the top of this blog!}

Many of you know that James, our retoucher extraordinare, lives and works for us from Thailand.  Amazing what computers can do, huh?  This past Saturday, he and the lovely Ooy were married in Bangkok.  Congrats James and Ooy (or “Joy” as their wedding invitation calls them…so cute)! And we look forward to trip out to visit some day….

And last but for sure not least, check out this cute little baby bump!  That’s our very own Jen, glowin’ with her characteristic fantastic smile.  Jen and Evan will welcome their baby boy in October, just a year after their beautiful wedding in Maui.  In other Jen news, she is also living her dream of being a youth pastor at her church in Frisco.  So we could not be more happy for the Mulligan clan, even though there will quite a few tears shed when she leaves us next month.
