We have a new friend in our family…..a stray Siberian Husky jumped our fence on Tuesday and has made our back yard her new home. Ava named her Jumpy. We are still trying to decide if this is a permanent arrangement, or (our better judgment should tell us) a temporary one. She is a really sweet girl, and as you can see just a gorgeous dog! We took her to the vet Thursday and got her all cleaned up (it took 3 baths!) and checked out. She is about one year old and is quite healthy. The vet thought she had been out wandering for quite some time and no owners in the Richardson/ Garland area are looking for her. So, as much as we might hate to say it….families with lots of room in the backyard and a serious commitment to exercising an active breed can contact us if interested. (Sniff sniff)
