Welcome!

Hi and thanks for stopping by our blog!

A bit about me...I am a portrait photographer based in Dallas, and I have the most amazing job. My wonderful husband Matt and I get to work together creating beautiful art of incredible families. How great is that? To top it all off, we are blessed with the two most amazing kids in the world (well...to us, you know).

We love feedback, so please comment often! It really, really makes my day! And photographers, I'm happy to help...so feel free to fire any questions my way.

Take a look around...you will see my website link at the top of the blog. Please visit there as we have lots more images to view and tons of info about our work. If you are a past client, you can use the archives tab to find your blog post from my old blog...everything is still here! If you are a future client, we just can't wait to meet you and your precious family. You are why we love what we do.

Emerson (2.5)+Bram (2wks)

Emerson was oh so cute when they came for the maternity session….and just an absolute doll when she brought her baby brother back to the studio…

Ella (2)+ Ryker & Eliza (19 day old twins)

We hadn’t seen newborn twins for quite a while, so I had a few new ideas for these guys.  But….the morning of the session it was POURING down rain, so we improvised the natural window light we normally do with a giant extra-diffused soft box.  Worked like a charm!  Ohhh…these guys are so sweet and Miss Ella was just a perfect angel!

Grant(3)+Elizabeth(10days)

Cute.E.Pies.   Seriously!  How adorable are they??

Ian (8 mos)

OK, I am so late in posing these for our sweet, sweet friend Jen.  She was our amazing nanny/production assistant for 6 years before this precious little man was born.  Daddy is about the biggest Cowboys fan in the universe, so of course Ian is sporting his baby jersey!

Everlee hanging out

We took a bit of a break last week…..but boy will I have a lot more pics to post soon!

When Miss Everlee was here for her newborn session, mama really really really wanted a hanging picture of her, incorporating a bow that was used as decoration at her baby shower.  Everlee wanted nothing to do with it!

So we tried again when they came back to view their proofs.  Got it!

And for everyone interested where her mommy got some of the knits from her session, take a peek at http://www.leebees.etsy.com and feast your eyes on some very yummy hats and cocoons!

Dad’s Day in Kansas City

We loooove our baseball families!  Some of our favorites have played on the Texas Rangers…and due to the nature of baseball….have since moved all around the country.  We were honored to be invited to photograph the Royals family day on Sunday.  It was a hot one!  But tons of fun.  Get ready for a LOAD of pics…..

and one last one……ice down the back is the ONLY way to cool off!

Noah(14 mos)+Joshua(8 days)

Sweet baby Joshua is just 14months younger than big brother Noah and I’m sure they’ll be best friends soon.

Everlee (6 days)

Beautiful Everlee’s mommy had a little mishap with the shopping cart on Etsy, and ended up with a gorgeous (and huge!) assortment of knit baby coccoons, wraps and hats for our session.  YEA for us!  BOO for her Mastercard!

Liz (17)+Abigail(7)+Eric(4)

I have a few posts for my very patient families from last week….

Matt whisked me away on a surprise trip to Colorado for our anniversary on Thursday, then we spent the day on Sunday photographing the Royals baseball team family day in Kansas City.  Back home now, but it’s been a whirlwind!

Here are some sweet friends we hadn’t seen in a couple years.  Man, they have really grown!

More Boys….Ryan(10)+Davin (5 days)

Two more boys this past week…..an awesome big brother and his brand new baby.

Great Grandaddy’s boots….

Now, I am not originally from Texas, so I don’t get it.  But being an alumni of Texas A&M is a REALLY big deal.  Gig ‘em!
