Since our new studio had been under construction for a while now (almost done- SO EXCITED!), we’ve had the opportunity to photograph so many sweet newborn families in their homes the past few months. We love it!

“Taming the toddler” (or preschooler as the case may be) during newborn sessions is our specialty; making sure we capture lots of images of the baby with their big brother or sister is super important to us. We loved the sweet images these two gave us…even being wide awake for much of the time, Caroline was so calm and relaxed with big brother Bennett…

Have you ever seen a brighter, happier session? We were so excited to see these friends again, as they moved all the way to Connecticut not too long after our last session. Thanksgiving brought them back for a Texas visit and we had so much fun exploring Deep Ellum together. (And can we talk a little bit about Ananya’s purple hair streaks? Hello, perfect for this urban location!) Thanks Stockers!! We have loved each and every time we have documented your family growing through the years!

This season, we designed over 60 families’ holiday cards! We rarely share images from the summer and fall on the blog or social media before the end of the year for fear of stealing the thunder from those cards. But I’ve been dying to share all of our travel session images from the summer ~ let’s start with this crew! Aren’t Emerson, Avery and Harris the cutest?

Their home in Crested Butte is stunning and we had the most gorgeous afternoon capturing them there. Our annual Colorado sessions will be here before we know it….we typically go all across the state for a week or so. Each and every year we get to see these beautiful people, and this is the second time we’ve captured them in their new home, Vancouver. (Easily my favorite city to visit! Maybe next time we will see them in their native Sweden) The forest we chose for our location was a true fairy tale….Cue fog and deer.
