There’s not a whole lot we love more than to capture a super fun family in one of our favorite Dallas locations! I had the hardest time choosing which images to show- we loved too many!
We are thrilled to announce that our new studio in the Dallas Design District is open! This project has been a labor of love from the start; we have been working for almost a year on it’s completion and the results are everything we ever dreamed of!
The 1200 square foot camera room is light and airy thanks to two enormous windows and light hardwood floors. While studio lighting and dark backgrounds are still available, we are most looking forward to the creative opportunities of this natural light space.
The gallery consists of many portrait displays including large scale acrylics and beautifully framed museum-quality giclees. If you were unable to join us for our open house, please feel free to stop by! Our new address is 1250 Slocum Street, Suite 750. We are located in the Design Center near downtown Dallas. It had been almost 9 years since we had captured this awesome family…and I think we made up for some lost time with these images! We loved every minute spent with these guys during their at-home Dallas session!!
We might not have ever seen a prettier fall day at the Dallas Arboretum! We love working with these friends ~ we’ve known them since Reagan and our daughter, Ava, were in the first grade at TCA. Seeing how their family (and love) have grown since the addition of cutie pie Eli is the best!

The Big Sky of Montana is no joke! The setting for these portraits could not have been any more beautiful, and our trip to photograph this favorite family at their property in Montana (we drove from Jackson Hole via Yellowstone National Park) was a highlight of our summer! We hope the images we captured together are as special to these guys as they are to us ~ what an amazing afternoon we had. We love you, Shanks Family!
