A couple weeks ago, Matt, the kids and I spent a super fun few days visiting these friends in Phoenix. Not only do we love these guys to pieces but seeing them for their annual shoot is a highlight for our whole family!

To say that this blog post has tormented me would be an understatement! Where do I start when trying to show the feeling, the love and the beauty of this family is such an amazing location? How do I even begin to narrow down all the images that take me right back to last weekend in the vineyards and valleys and mountains, surrounded by ripe grapes and friends? So….in the end, I stopped trying to narrow it down. I’m just showing a whole bunch of images that caught my eye from the two days we spent with these friends. We love these guys, and are so honored to spend time with them in California and add to their story each year.
Spencer Grace rides at home in Carmel, and had the opportunity to take a lesson at a stable in Napa. Watching her ride was incredible! I think there are horseback riding lessons in our daughter, Ava’s, future.
Matt and I traveled to California for two amazing sessions last weekend…..there are so many images that I am just a bit overwhelmed! We had a blast with Caiden and his mom and dad. We’ve been photographing him since he was a bump in the belly, and now he is the cutest, most full of life three year old we’ve played with in a long time. The area of SF where we stayed it truly magical……right at the foot of the Golden Gate bridge, surrounded by hills and vistas and beaches and giant trees. And the fog horn. Oh we loved it. So much so that we are headed back next week with our own kids!!! Yep….we’re taking advantage of some mileage tickets and a very rare free weekend in the middle of our busy season insanity. Like I said, there are so so many images I loved from this trip……here are a few! Next up, images from Napa Valley!!
