Playing Catch-up

I am a bit behind in showing some sneak peeks from last weeks’ sessions. But we had such wonderful kiddos and images last week, I just need to go ahead and show off the fun we had….

I Can’t decide if I was more in awe of his amazing eye contact at just 2 weeks old…or those LASHES when he slept. A future heartthrob, for sure.

Texas Vacation

Bo came all the way from Montana to visit his “Sassy” (his grandma Sally……OK I love that grandma name) for a whole 2 weeks! Bo’s session is the start of Sassy’s new tradition of having all the grandkids photographed at 4 years old. Love it!

We had tons of fun with this guy. He is ALL BOY. Outside the studio, Matt found a cool green lizard, which Bo found really exciting…as he only has 4 dogs and a horse to pal around with in Montana. (wow!)

Thanks, Sally, for bringing your little man in. Hope you have wonderful rest of your visit, and can’t wait to see the rest of the grandkids when the time comes!

Home-Bound

With their little baby boy ready to be born any time, Sarah and Ben were excited to squeek in for a maternity portrait session. But 2 days prior to our session she was landed on bedrest for high blood pressure. Now this is something that I know about all too well! A trip to the studio was out of the question….so I went out to them! With rest in between many shots (under the careful eye of dad-to-be, Ben, I might add), we had a wonderful time right in and around their home.

Photo Road Trip

We were so honored these guys made the road trip from Houston…..with their brand new baby and their energetic 2 year old….for an awesome portrait session. We saw Mr. Corbin when he was teeny weeny, so it was fitting that we got to meet his baby brother, Kai, at the same age. So without further ado…

Love, love, love…..

There is so much that I love about these guys: their sweet family has been with us since we worked out of the small back room in our first home and it seems like we have evolved and grown right along with them. Beth and I had our first kiddos around the same time, so there was an instant connection when we met as she was still pregnant, discussing plans for Mr. Lleyton’s birth announcement. Since then, this family has been through lots of highs….and a few lows….and we are so very thankful to have been able to capture so much a long the way.

Thanks, guys, for trusting us with your precious kids and their priceless portraits! You are why we LOVE what we do.
