Come check us out at the NorthPark Oilily store next Thursday, September 13!! We will be joining Modern Luxury Dallas magazine in an event to benefit Children’s Medical Center, yet another amazing cause! We’ll be there all day offering “mini sessions” (kids only)….so come check out the unbelievingly cute fall line and let me snap your kiddos. It’s only a $20 donation to the charity. What a deal! And everyone will walk away with an adorable personalized photo bag tag. A portion of proceeds from the day’s photo and clothing sales will go to Children’s. Hope to see ya there!
Check out this little pumpkin! Operation Smile sent me the “after” pic of sweet Britany, a baby I met in Honduras while photographing their medical mission in March. She was just 9 months old then, and look at her now, a gorgeous SMILING one year old.
One that note, a HUGE thank you goes out to all of our clients who purchase “Smile Cards.” THIS is the result of your generosity. Operation Smile uses only $240 to repair a cleft lip like Britany’s (her cleft palate surgery will happen next year). Last year, our studio was able to donate $8500 to Operation Smile. How? Well, along with PPA Charities (Professional Photographers of America), we designate October as Family Portrait Month, and a portion from all sales from the month are donated to the charity. In addition to our year long sales of Smile Cards, it sure does add up!
So we are really looking forward to another amazing month of giving in October! And if you have already had your session and would still like to order Smile Cards (blank notecards with your favorite image from your session), please do! ALL money from the sale of the cards goes to help children like Britany.

Little baby A. is the third child we have photographed from this sweet family. Today big brother and sister stayed home so the attention was all on her. I love it when families concentrate a portrait session on a middle or youngest kid….
