Holy Moly. Talk about energy. Since we have been photographing this high octane bunch since 2001, you’d think we’d be accustomed to the energy involved with their sessions. Phew, this one was a whirlwind! So fun…we love their mom too….but I think she enjoys the quiet time outside the studio the most of all during the sessions
I think in our new studio we need to offer red wine for the waiting parents…and frazzled photographer!
We love this family! It is so fun to follow families through the years. We began photographing these guys when 5 year old J. was just a little bitty one year old in the cutest, tiniest glasses you’ve ever seen. She is now getting so big…off to first grade in a couple weeks and the big sis to 2 other cuties…
We had so much fun with these 2 beauties in the studio! Little Miss L. is 5 years old and full of sass and energy! She prefers to style her own clothes and accessories, and even though she protests, mom styles (aka brushes the tangles out of) her hair.
And baby A. is near and dear to our hearts as her parents, Ben and Ashley are great friends of ours. Ashley, pre-baby days, was an awesome help to us during holiday seasons as a production assistant. Its so fun to see her in front of the camera!
I am on a big window light kick lately. I guess I am just getting so excited for our new studio that will be done (hopefully!) in a month or so. Unlike our current studio which has a small window, the new one will have a giant one. I am so pumped for that!
So here are two precious ones from our session today. Big sis was so gentle and sweet with her 3 month old brother. Ahhh…a 5 year old girl with a baby in the studio is a treat. They are always so sweet and nurturing, and I love seeing that. Now the 20 month old boy with the newborn is a whole other animal….fun…but a major challenge, so this was just a breath of fresh air.
